Timothy Blaine Quist

June 11, 1963 — August 2, 2007

Timothy Blaine Quist, the son of Marvin and Karen (Stouffer) Quist was born June 11, 1963, in Spencer, Iowa. His childhood years were spent in Gillett Grove, Iowa, where he attended South Clay Elementary. Through high school he participated in the Special Olympics where he was awarded several medals for swimming. Tim graduated from Spencer High School in 1981. Tim was interested in cars and trucks of all kinds. He enjoyed assembling model cars and trucks and was an avid collector of remote control vehicles. Tim loved spending time with his family and will be greatly missed. On August 2, 2007, Timothy passed away at the Palo Alto County Hospital in Emmetsburg, Iowa, at the age of 44. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Quist. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Karen Quist of Belgrade, Minnesota; two sisters: Susan (David) Glienke of Greenville, Iowa, and Kelli (David) Hunter of Belgrade, Minnesota; one brother, Brian Quist and his friend, Darla Miller of Whittemore, Iowa; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives; and many friends

SERVICES

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M., Monday, August 6, 2007, at the First Christian Church in Spencer.

VISITATION

Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M. Sunday evening with the family present from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. Sunday night at Warner Funeral Home in Spencer.
