Timothy Lee Kehoe, the son of Eugene and Alice (Stinogel) Kehoe, was born on February 24, 1957, in Spencer, IA. He was baptized (1958) and confirmed (May 9, 1971) at the Grace United Methodist Church. He received his early education in Spencer graduating from high school. After high school, Tim attended Iowa State University. He returned to Spencer where he worked in the sales and hospitality business, most notably, managing the AmericInn for 14 years. Tim worked at Hy-Vee Wine Spirits most recently before semi-retiring after the onset of his illness. Tim also was taking classes at Iowa lakes Community College and Buena Vista College.
On October 27, 1990, Tim married Ranae Licht, in Spencer, IA. Following their marriage, they lived in Spencer where Tim was very active in the community. He has served in various community organizations including the Clay County Thrivent Financial Board as Chapter President, and also received the Chapter of Excellence Award, Thrivent Financial Advocate in Washington, D.C. on Capital Hill, Lutheran Family Services Regional Area Council, Spencer Chamber of Commerce Membership and Tourism Committees, City of Spencer Renaissance Initiative Committee, Upper Des Moines Opportunity Policy Council, Hy-Noon Kiwanis International member and board member of Spencer Y.M.C.A. Men's Club, Spencer Community Theatre, Clay County Pals, previously served on Spencer High School Advisory Committee and Clay County Extension Board. Tim was also very active in the church where he served on the Board of Elders, Board of Finance, Usher, Choir, Praise Team, Men's Bible Study Leader, Sunday School Teacher and Gift Director. Tim lived and loved living in the community of Spencer. He lived a Christian life of servanthood through his volunteerism. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Tim loved to read and tinkering in his garage and yard.
Tim passed away on May 5, 2012, after a long illness at the Spencer Hospital surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ranae of Spencer, IA; his three stepchildren: Matthew Richardson and his wife, Jennifer and their children: Charlie and Addison of Littleton, CO, Nicole Wallig and her children: Chloe and Isaiah of Cedar Rapids, IA and Victoria Richardson and her daughter, Sophia of Spencer,IA; his parents, Eugene and Alice Kehoe of Spencer, IA; two brothers: Jim Kehoe and his wife, Jacquie and their son, Robbie of Spencer, IA and John Kehoe of Spencer, IA; his children: Sarah, Jessie and his wife Julie, and Kristen; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 A.M. Friday, May 11, 2012, at the First English Lutheran Church in Spencer.
