Tommy Gene Burrow

     Tommy Gene Burrow was born on May 18, 1952 in Clovis, New Mexico to Rondall and Patricia (Settlemyre) Burrow. Tom passed away at his home in Spencer, Iowa on April 7, 2018.
       Tom grew up in Dalhart Texas. After graduating from high school Tom joined the Army after which he returned to Texas and worked as a truck driver in Dalhart and Amarillo, Texas.  In 1983 Tom moved to Iowa. Since living in Iowa Tom has worked road construction, drove semi-truck and worked for Shine brothers in Spencer, Iowa. Tom retired in 2008 due to health reasons. Tom enjoyed spending time with family, friends and especially his children and grandchildren.
Tom is survived by his wife Tanya Spieker of Spencer Iowa, his children Cindy Koch and her husband Oliver of Abstatt Germany; Wesley Burrow and his wife Paige of Estherville, Iowa, Ashley Lind and her fiancé Cedillo Mayorga Gilberto of Fairmont, Minnesota, Amanda Sierra and her husband Antero of Fort Dodge, Iowa; Brandy Burrow of Grand Junction, Iowa, Adam Burrow of Spencer, Iowa; his sisters Renee Swart of Leeds, North Dakota and Dianna (Teafatiller) Breeze of Martinsville, West Virginia; sister-in-law Debbie Teafatiller of Stratford, Texas; also 16 grandchildren, along with many friends and other relatives. 
     Tom was preceded in death by his father Rondall, his mother Patricia (Settlemyre) Parker, his step-fathers Floyd Teafatiller and Thomas Parker; his brother Tim Teafatiller, nephew T. J. Teafatiller, grandparents, aunts and uncles.

 

 

SERVICES
Memorial services will be held 1:00 P.M., Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.
VISITATION
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

INTERMENT
Privately at a later date.
