Verlie Marie Anderson

Verlie Marie Anderson was born on March 20, 1942 to Columbus and Ethel Tilley in Moore, Arkansas. Verlie was raised in rural Dover, Arkansas where she had attended and graduated from Dover High School in 1960. She married in 1961 and later divorced. She was blessed with three children Cathy, James and Deborah. Verlie belonged to First Presbyterian Church of Lake Park, Iowa. She loved to make crafts, read, garden and fish. Verlie cherished her faith, family and friends. Verlie passed away on April 15, 2017 at Lake Park Care Facility in Lake Park, Iowa at the age of 75. She was preceded in death by her parents Columbus and Ethel Tilley, brother James Tilley, half- brothers William Tilley and Ray Tilley, half- sister Erma Ruth Tilley and beloved grandson Dana Hubbard. Left to cherish her memory are two daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy and Michael Caruso of Silver Spring, Maryland, Deborah and Shawn Fiene of Odessa, Missouri; a son and daughter-in-law, James and Marsena Hubbard of Spencer, Iowa; a brother Herb Tilley and wife Betty of London, Arkansas; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews along with many friends. Memorial Services will be held at a later date in Ben Hur, Arkansas; cremation.
