Vesta Velva Roskammer

Vesta Velva Roskammer, the daughter of Milford and Edna Frick Sass, was born July 5, 1918 in Hartley, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Hartley, where she received her education.
Vesta was united in marriage to John F. Roskammer on April 9, 1936 in Luverne, Minnesota. They made their home in Hartley, Iowa, where she was a homemaker throughout her life. She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Hartley.
Mrs. Roskammer passed away at the Spencer Hospital in Spencer, Iowa on Monday, September 24, 2007 at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John on January 28, 1984; a sister, Pearl Steffens and her brother-in-law, Ray Steffens.
She is survived by one daughter, Jeraldine "Jerri" Jean and her husband, Jerry Wittrock of Urbana, MO; one grandson, Monty Weimer; other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, September 28, 2007 at Trinity United Church of Christ in Hartley.

Visitation will begin 5:00 P.M., Thursday, September 27 with no specified time for the family to be present at the Warner Funeral Home in Hartley.
