Viola K. Rolfs

June 9, 1911 — September 17, 2008

Viola K. Rolfs was born on June 9, 1911 to John C. and Lulu (Steuben) Rolfs in Everly, Iowa. She was raised and attended school, graduating from Everly High School in 1929. She was baptized and raised in the Lutheran faith. Viola worked in Minneapolis for a creamery as a bookkeeper and then in Chicago she worked for John Hancock Insurance Co. also as a bookkeeper. Later she moved to Cedar Rapids and worked for a photo shop. Viola was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, William Rolfs and five sisters: Vena Anderson, Helen Holst, Bertha Holst, Ella Neff and Esta Rolfs. Left to cherish her memory are her nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

SERVICES

Memorial Graveside Services will be held at 1:30p.m., Friday, October 17, 2008 at the Lone Tree Cemetery in Everly, Iowa
