Virginia Mae Ketcham, the daughter of Herman and Jeanette Curry Gustoff, was born January 27, 1927 in Spencer, Iowa. She received her education in Spencer.
Virginia married Tedwin "Ted" Ketcham on January 30, 1945 in Spencer, Iowa. They farmed near Royal, then moved to Fulda, MN to farm, and then to Rembrandt where they continued to farm. In 1964, they moved near Langdon until moving to Spencer 1975. Virginia worked at Davies Company, Hansen's Dry Cleaning, 3 & 71 Truck Stop, Stub's Ranch Kitchen and at Sunshine Center. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Rebekah's and TOPS. In her spare time, Virginia enjoyed playing table games with tenants at RVT and spending time with her family.
Virginia passed away on November 29, 2007 at her home in Spencer at the age of 80. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ted; brothers Donald and Merle Gustoff.
She is survived by one son, A. Lee Ketcham (Nancy) of Spencer, IA; one daughter, Leoma Haaland (Russell) of Spencer, IA; six grandchildren: Bradley and Brenda Chamberlain, Nicholas Ketcham and his wife, Heather, Lucas, Douglas and Marcus Ketcham; one brother and his wife, Verle Dean Gustoff and Marge of Spencer, IA; one sister, Ruth Kunzman of Spencer, IA; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00A.M. on Monday, December 3, 2007 at the First Christian Church in Spencer.
