Vivian Hart

Vivian Hart 96 of Spencer,Iowa, formerly of Correctionville, Iowa passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Northshire Care Center in Spencer. Vivian was born on September 21, 1918 in Graceville, Minnesota to Edward and Florence Robinson. She moved with her family to Correctionville, Iowa in 1931. Vivian graduated from Correctionville High School and Virginia Jr. College in Virginia, Minnesota. Vivian married Roland Hart in June of 1939 in Cherokee, Iowa. They had three children; a daughter Patty Earnest and two sons Dennis Hart and Murray Hart. Vivian served as the Correctionville librarian and later served as the City Clerk for many years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of the United Methodist Church; serving in many capacities in the Sunday School and Church. Vivian moved to Spencer, Iowa in 1990. Vivian enjoyed reading, playing bridge and swimming at the Spencer YMCA. Vivian was proceeded in death by her husband Roland, her parents Florence and Edward Robinson, her brother Lyle Robinson, her son Dennis Hart, her grandson Elmer Earnest Jr., her granddaughter Nikki Hart, and her granddaughter Kari Earnest. Vivian is remembered by her daughter Patty Earnest and husband Elmer Earnest of Mountain, Wisconsin and their son, Brian Earnest and his wife Brenda, of Stevens Point, Wisconsin; her son, Murray Hart and his wife Jackie, of Spencer, Iowa and their children Todd Hart and his wife Shelly of Charlotte, North Carolina, Tiffany Hart Mohr and her husband Brian Mohr of Spencer, Iowa, Troy Hart and Tory Hart, both of Spencer, and eleven great grandchildren. Vivian Hart will be laid to rest in the Correctionville Cemetery. No services are planned.
SERVICES
Vivian passed away at Northshire Residence in Spencer, Iowa. Her wishes were to be cremated and burial services will be held at a later date.
