Wanda Elaine Plagman

Wanda Elaine Plagman, the daughter of David and Kate Ginger, was born March 6, 1932 in Gaza, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in rural Everly, where she received her education. Wanda married Willard Plagman on November 30, 1948 in Peterson, IA. Following their marriage they lived in Peterson until 1963, when they moved to Spencer, IA. Throughout her married life, Wanda worked at Longhouse Residence, Heartland Press as well as Standard Printing and Design, where she was still employed at the time of her death. She enjoyed knitting, and embroidering as well as keeping up with her photo albums. While on a vacation to visit her sons, Wanda passed away in La Mesa, CA on Thursday, February 22, 2007 at the age of 74. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard on February 25, 2002, her parents, two sisters, (Alice and Arlene), a son-in-law, and three brothers in law. She is survived by her children: Patricia and her husband, Duane Lange of Duncombe, IA, Michael and his wife, Fran Plagman of Estherville, IA, Louella and her husband, Ronald Zieman of Spencer, IA, Randy and his wife, Vicky Plagman of Spencer, Larry and his wife, Dawn Plagman of Santee, CA, Leslie Plagman of Portland, OR, Theresa Plagman of Cheyenne, WY and Scott and his wife, Mae Plagman of Santee, CA; 15 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren; one sister, Alvena Eldhardt of Spencer; one brother, Wayne Ginger of Everly, IA; one brother-in-law, Clifford, and his wife, Shirley Plagman of Milford, IA; one sister-in-law, Gail Plagman of Laurens, IA; other relatives and many friends.
