Willard "Bill" Royce Collingwood

   Willard (Bill) Royce Collingwood, 82, the son of Phil & Evelyn (Churchill) Collingwood was born on October 5, 1941 in Sioux City, IA. He attended Sergeant Bluff School.

    Bill married Debra (Wilkinson) Collingwood August 30, 1990 in Spencer, IA and they resided in Peterson, Iowa.

    Bill was known as a man who played as hard as he worked. He operated cranes/heavy equipment, building bridges mainly in Iowa. His main passions in life were rebuilding old cars and guns. He loved competition shooting and displaying the cars he rebuilt, all with his loving wife, Deb Collingwood by his side. Bill passed away peacefully at home on September 6, 2024.

   He is survived by his wife, Debra Collingwood; son, William Collingwood (Leann), daughters: Michelle Kidwell (James), Kimberly Dornbier (Dale), Ange Mosier (Danny); stepson, Chad Wilkinson (Kim); grandchildren: Joshua and Erik Collingwood, Kerry Collingwood, Clay and Tanner Riedesel, Aleshia and Dylan Mosier, step grandchildren, Owen and Quinn Wilkinson; niece, Belinda Pollock (Brian); nephew, Matt Carter (Krissy); very special family friend and caregiver for Bill, Amy Stallings and children: Leif, Eowyn and Koda (Caitlynn, Avah; other relatives and friends.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Phil and Evelyn Collingwood; in-laws, Jack and Loretta Peterson; his first wife and mother of his daughters, Karen Collingwood; sister, Phyllis Carter and nephew, Scott Carter.
