William "Bill" Wesley Faust

     William “Bill” Wesley Faust, the son of Frederick and Caroline (Ritter) Faust was born November 21, 1939 in Brady Township, PA. His childhood years were spent in the Williamsport, PA area, where he attended school. Bill enlisted in the U.S. Navy on December 11, 1956 and served until his Honorable Discharge on September 2, 1960.

     Bill married Barbara Baysinger on November 29, 1986, in Spencer, IA. He moved to the Spencer, IA area in 1975 where he worked as a truck driver his entire career until his retirement in 2012. Bill enjoyed driving truck, Christmas lights, playing Pig and Horse with his grandchildren, cooking and especially spending time with family.

     Bill passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at his home, at the age of 82. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Brian Rittenhouse; one brother, Daniel Wolfe; and one sister, Margaret Scheving-Thorsteinsson.

     Left to cherish his memory are his wife Barbara of Spencer, IA; 3 children, Michelle Rittenhouse, Cheryl Crouch, and Trisha Quail, all of Spencer, IA; 7 grandchildren, Ramon Luna of Spencer, IA, Neave (Pedro) Ruiz of Spencer, IA, JJ (Oma) Crouch of Lake Park, IA, Josh (Ceselie) Rittenhouse of Spencer, IA, Chris (Liz) Quail of Spencer, IA, Aaron Quail of Spencer, IA, and Paige Jans of Spencer, IA; 14 great-grandchildren; other relatives; and many friends.
