William George Flint, the son of George Henry and Elizabeth Marie Bertha (Stanz) Flint, was born January 3, 1934, on a farm near Langdon, Iowa. He received his early education attending a country school, later graduating from Spencer High School.
Bill married Jeanette Anderson and to this union three children were born: Jodi, Steven and Kelly.
Bill loved the farming life and throughout his farming career, he raised Duroc pigs. During this time, he also worked for the Spencer Packing Plant, and later for Eaton Corporation until his retirement. He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Spencer. Bill enjoyed going to coffee with his friends, crafts, woodwork and Bingo
Bill passed away at Longhouse Residence in Spencer, Iowa, on Friday, August 30, 2013, at the age of 79. Bill was preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memory are one daughter, Jodi Montgomery and husband, Ken of Spencer, IA; two sons: Steven Flint of Sutherland, IA, and Kelly Flint of Terril, IA; one grandchild, Keenyn Montgomery; one sister, Velma Hamrick of Spencer, IA; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will take place 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 3, at Grace Untited Methodist Church in Spencer.
