“Dorothy and Family ~ Wow! Virgil was one of my most favorite people at Golfview, both as a Board member and as a personal friend. During his time as Board President Virgil exhibited calm and quiet, but powerful, leadership. He cared about each person here and worked diligently to make Golfview a wonderful place to live. Dorothy, I so enjoyed being able to pop by for impromptu visits with you and Virgil. Your home was always a welcoming, comforting place for me, and we shared a lot of good laughs! You and Virgil are both missed at Golfview. I pray for your Family’s Peace and Comfort at this difficult time. I will continue to hold both you and Virgil in my heart.”

“We're so sorry to hear that Virgil has passed away. It appears that he is at rest now and in a wonderful place. I will miss him at the race track as we camped accross from each other in Knoxville, Iowa during the Sprint Car Nationals every year I believe since 1992. I will always have the Memories to remember him by. Also, we will all share the Great Memories of the farm when we were young. The Fredin Kids are & were very close to the Spiess Kids. ”
