Upon William’s passing in 2012 she moved to Spencer, Iowa to live with her son, David.  In 2017, David and her moved to Sioux Falls SD.  She lived all of her last years with her son, David except for the last 2 weeks of her life.

“Years ago, I remember when Charlotte worked at the Quaker Oats Elevator in Royal. Homer Beck owned it at that time and Charlotte was the bookkeeper. I babysat for the 3 Beck boys (Steve, Mike, & Dan) when they went to their Christmas party. She was such a nice person. My folks were Brownie and Evie Schuck. My mom is 105 now. Dad passed away in 1999.

Another thing, I remember when Walter Walstrom (her dad) bought a silver Dodge at Asher's one day and my Dad bought a red and white Dodge the same day. They were neighbors South of Royal at that time. Oh, those were the good old days! Our deepest sympathy to all the family.
