Jack Lester Hardin, 79, of Everly, Iowa formerly of Indianola, Iowa and Casa Grande, Arizona, passed away on November 2, 2021. 

 

    After high school, Jack enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and then returned to farming north of Indianola. Later in life, he enjoyed working with wood, creating furniture pieces for his children, playing a challenging game of dominos or marbles with friends and family. 

 

    Jack is survived by his three children: Melinda Hardin of Newton, IA, Michelle (Jay) Rothfus of Perry, IA, and David Hardin of Everly, IA; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Jack’s parents were Lois and Maurice Hardin of Summerset, IA.

     Jack is also survived by his siblings: Don Hardin, Dean Hardin, Carolyn Gilleland, Gary (Charlotte) Hardin, Pat Gatrel and Jim (Mabel) Hardin.  

 

     No funeral services are planned per Jack’s wishes but a celebration of life luncheon may be planned at a later date. 

 

     The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the nursing staff at Aspire Care Facility in Sutherland, IA and Mercy Hospital in Sioux City. 

 

  

SERVICES
Family Services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of Flowers, The family requests that donations be made to Everly Fire and Rescue.
